Ryn is an extremely picturesque village situated by Mazurian lakes, in the north of Poland. The project focuses on embracing the beauty of the surroundings, as well as presenting the name of the town playfully. Freestanding letters – r, y – are placed in the vicinity of an existing outdoor amphitheatre, while the last one – n – forms a canopy over the stage, simultaneously framing the landscape behind and bringing it to the stage in form of the live scenography. All of the letters are cast in the red concrete, following the colour of the local brick architecture.
